We are always keen to welcome new members. It doesn't matter if you are young or old, sporty or more sedentary. You might be keen for competition or just out to enjoy yourself. Whatever your reasons for playing, you'll find the club's friendly atmosphere appealing. And the green is of such a high quality, our grounds maintenance team has received national recognition.
If you're thinking of trying bowls, we hold free coaching sessions on Sunday mornings at the beginning of the outdoor season in April and May. We can loan you a set of bowls and flat-soled shoes to use initially if you haven't got your own. Your coach will confirm when you're ready to play in the social roll up sessions on Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 1.45pm.

You can play in five roll ups for a small fee per session, to give plenty of chance to ensure bowls is for you. Once you decide to become a member, we will deduct the roll up payments you've made from the membership fee.
We also publish a Guide for New Members to help you make the most of your membership.
To find out about membership, click the 'Contact us' button, or come to the club any weekday afternoon, when there's usually someone about.
