For this key competition two trophies are awarded. The winner is presented with the Challenge Cup, donated by H Hankin in 1912. The runner up is awarded the Challenge Shield, donated by the wife and family of Henry A Tabony of Fenstanton.
The competition is a series of knockout rounds played by male club members. The winner is the first to 21. The winner represents the club in both the County and Bowls England Champion of Champions competitions in the following year.
