In connection with the recently formed Bowling Club, a tea was held on the grounds presided over by the President Mr J B Ellis, there was also present Dr P Rose (Captain), Messrs, C A Stiles (Secretary) E T Ruston, F Barton, H F Corbett, E Whaley, G Russell, and F G Reynolds.
The ground is in very good condition, a fair number have already joined, and there is every prospect of this being quite a flourishing institution in the town.
